Your responsibilities will include: Delivering resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the guidance of a registered nurse. Responding to the physical and emotional needs of residents, as outlined in care plans. Assisting with basic health care needs, including bathing, grooming, dressing, obtaining vital signs, and offering psychosocial support. Facilitating mobility by assisting residents with transfers, repositioning, and walking, using proper techniques and equipment. Preparing meals and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for residents. Documenting care provided and communicating changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff. Maintaining cleanliness in residents' living areas and assisting with housekeeping tasks. Encouraging resident participation in wellness and recreational programs. Qualifications Preferred qualifications include: High school diploma or GED (not required). Minimum age of 16; experience in long-term care is a plus. Current state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, or enrollment in a training program. Completion of yearly competency testing and maintenance of continuing education credits (12 hours annually). Additionally, must meet the requirements for a Sanford Category II Driver if applicable.
