This role as a Human Resources Specialist offers you:
Insight into federal, state, and local employment laws
Experience with basic Microsoft Office Suite and workforce management tools
Proficiency in scheduling software
While no two days are identical, a typical day may involve the following responsibilities:
Collaborate with HR leaders to forecast and address talent and staffing needs, ensuring alignment with guest expectations and business objectives.
Lead recruiting initiatives to help store leaders attract top candidates with the necessary skills to enhance guest experiences.
Facilitate training for team members and leaders, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Serve as a key resource for scheduling systems and pay practices.
Actively listen to team members, providing support and collaborating with leaders to enact necessary changes.
Implement human resources processes to boost team member engagement while minimizing business disruptions.
Uphold company compliance policies designed to protect team members’ experiences. Create a warm atmosphere by greeting guests while performing daily duties. When guests require assistance, engage with them in a friendly manner to meet their needs. Always express gratitude, letting them know we appreciate their visit to Target. Demonstrate a commitment to ethical conduct, safety standards, and compliance protocols. Maintain a safe working environment at all times; adhere to safety policies, report hazards, and take corrective action when possible. Perform additional duties as required by business demands.

Accurately handle cash register operations when necessary.
Lift products weighing up to 10 pounds regularly without assistance.
Work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to different temperatures and humidity levels while performing duties such as Drive-Up and carryout.
Maintain mobility throughout the duration of your scheduled shift (shift lengths may vary).
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance is essential.
