Fundraising (Volunteer, Hybrid/Remote)

We are looking for a hands-on volunteer experienced with fundraising to refine and expand our existing efforts. This position will have access to our contacts database and communication tools. Familiarity with kidney disease would be a plus. Create end of year fundraising campaign (starting on Giving Tuesday): design theme, write emails, design postcard? and coordinate with the Board. Compile statistics of donors: repeat donors, first time donors, etc. Work with members to make donations, especially those with employer match Work with vendors (dialysis companies, doctors, hospitals, etc.) for donations/grants Find and apply for county, state and federal grants Establish and maintain good rapport with donors Acknowledge donors with personal handwritten thank you cards Create and send tax deduction letters It would be helpful if you have graphic and online publishing experience to create compelling social media materials to attract funders.
