We are seeking a detail-oriented and execution-focused Commercialization Manager to lead the planning and delivery of new product launches, end-of-life transitions, and the overall product roadmap calendar. This role ensures that every product introduction and discontinuation is executed flawlessly and on time, enabling cross-functional alignment across Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, R&D, and Finance.
The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of strategy and executiontranslating the product pipeline into actionable timelines, managing risks, and ensuring cross-functional accountability. This position requires exceptional project management skills, a strong understanding of CPG commercialization processes, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
Own the Product Roadmap Calendar: Manage and maintain the master commercialization calendar, including new product launches, reformulations, packaging updates, and product end-of-life.
Manage Process: Use stage-gate process to ensure completeness and accuracy in product commercialization
Drive Launch Excellence: Lead cross-functional commercialization teams (Marketing, Sales, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance) to ensure products are launched on time, on budget, and in scope.
Governance & Risk Management: Establish and lead stage-gate processes, flagging risks and driving resolution to keep launches on track.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Facilitate communication across teams to ensure alignment on launch priorities, timelines, and market readiness.
Lifecycle Management: Oversee product end-of-life planning, ensuring smooth transitions in market and minimizing business disruption.
Tools & Reporting: Build and deliver dashboards, trackers, and executive-ready updates to highlight progress, risks, and opportunities within the roadmap.
Process Improvement: Continuously improve commercialization processes, leveraging best practices and tools to optimize speed-to-market and executional excellence.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in business, Marketing, Operations, or related field (Masters ).
57 years of experience in commercialization, product management, or operations within CPG or related industries.
Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time.
Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, commercialization stage-gates, and go-to-market processes.
Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Proficiency with project management and visualization tools (Smartsheet, Asana, Power BI, Tableau).
Strong communication and business storytelling skills to influence senior leadership.
Location: Austin, TX, or plans to relocate to Austin, TX
