Job Title: Quality Control Inspector – Manufacturing

About the Role
We are seeking a
Quality Control Inspector
to join our production team. In this role, you will perform visual inspections on returned materials, document findings, and work closely with other departments to ensure quality standards are maintained. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with inspection experience, strong attention to detail, and an interest in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform inspections of materials returned from production, following required documentation.
Identify and segregate defective raw materials for appropriate handling.
Complete accurate inspection records and relocate defective items to designated areas.
Collaborate with departments to coordinate returns to suppliers.
Partner with Material Control, Production Management, and Supplier Quality Engineering on quality issues.
Maintain and improve RTV (Return to Vendor) procedures and documentation.
Manage the MQC/RTV database and generate reports to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum
1 year of manufacturing experience .
Knowledge of computer peripherals and basic data entry.
Familiarity with precision measuring tools used in inspections.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 5–50 lbs on a regular basis.
Minimal exposure to electronic components and hand tools.
Ability to navigate and move between facility departments.
