As the CME, you will drive the strategic vision and execution of our clinical development plans, ensuring that we deliver the highest quality of medical care to our patients. This pivotal role involves guiding and supporting our dedicated medical staff while cultivating an environment of clinical excellence, compliance, and teamwork. You will play a key role in developing, implementing, and monitoring clinical policies, procedures, and standards, as well as overseeing physician and advanced practice provider performance management. Collaboration with hospital administration and leadership is crucial for enhancing healthcare delivery and community health outcomes. Candidates for the CME position should possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited medical school, with a strong preference for those holding a Masters of Health Administration (MHA) or Masters of Business Administration (MBA). Board certification in a relevant specialty is highly preferred, and a valid California medical license with no restrictions is mandatory. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of clinical experience, including at least 4 years in a leadership role, with valuable experience in a rural or underserved setting being highly desirable. The CME will be actively involved in the recruitment, retention, and mentoring of medical staff, and must be prepared to engage with the community and represent the hospital in local health initiatives and outreach programs.
