  • Location: Lander, Wyoming (82520) – Wyoming healthcare jobs
  • Facility Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
  • Start Date: October 6, 2025
  • End Date: November 9, 2025
  • Contract Duration: 6 weeks
  • Hours per Week: 36
  • Shift: 12-hour day shifts (07:00-19:00)
  • Estimated Weekly Salary: $2130 - $2190

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience in a hospital or acute care setting
  • Active Wyoming RN license or multi-state Registered Nurse license
  • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (American Heart Association)
  • PALS/ENPC & TNCC preferred for critical care nurses
  • Experience providing care for pediatric and adolescent patients a plus
  • Flexibility to float between Lander and Riverton campuses as needed

ICU RN Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor patient conditions, developing individualized critical care plans
  • Deliver advanced life support, wound care, and emergency interventions
  • Assist physicians with ICU procedures and monitor vital signs
  • Operate and maintain medical equipment (ventilators, monitors, IABP)
  • Administer IV fluids, medications, and manage patient drips
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary critical care team and respond to emergencies
  • Advocate for patients, providing education and support to families
  • Care for pre- and post-operative patients in the ICU setting
  • Perform administrative duties or case management as required
