- End Date: January 12, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Nursing Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (07:00 – 19:00)
- Hours per Week: 36
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience; hospice nursing experience preferred
- Active Georgia RN License or Compact State RN License (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- Proficiency with IV starts and PA line management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Competency in basic nursing skills and computer literacy
- Demonstrated holistic approach to patient care
Hospice Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, holistic nursing care to hospice patients in an inpatient healthcare setting
- Perform IV starts and manage PA lines
- Operate and manage specialized equipment: Pleur-X drains, CADD pumps, Life Ports, NG tubes, G Tubes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinical staff
- Accurately and promptly document patient care
