Travel CT Tech - $2,739 per week in Enumclaw, WA

Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) Specialty: CT (Computed Tomography) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Evening, Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (5 PM - 5 AM) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) Must-Have: - Ability to work independently as the only staff member in the department between 11 PM and 7 AM - Proficiency in starting IVs if necessary Description: This position requires the ability to perform CT and general X-ray examinations. Common types of imaging studies performed include CT with and without contrast for various body parts and general X-ray studies. The average number of scans performed during the shift may range from 2 to 6 CT scans and 1 to 4 X-rays per night, depending on the workload. The department is equipped with a Toshiba 64 Slice CT scanner and a Carestream X-ray room. Radiologists are available in-house on select days and also through tele-radiology services. No call or standby is required for this position. Scrubs are to be worn as per individual preference. Training on the electronic medical record system will be provided on-site. Experience with PACS systems is necessary, with specific usage of EPIC and McKesson PACS. The candidate must be able to float to cover general X-ray responsibilities as needed. This role requires collaboration with the medical team and an understanding of trauma care settings.
