Travel CT Tech - $2,637 per week in Port Orchard, WA

Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist Specialty: Computed Tomography Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: WA license required Certifications: BLS, Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT), Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Must-Have: Customer service skills Description: Client auto deducts the 1.75 WA state tax. You are able to re-add that back in. Department is Radiology - CT Computed Tomography. General certification requirements include BLS and imaging license. CT and X-ray certification is required. The department has 1 X-ray and 1 CT scanner. No need to float or cover any other areas. Common types of imaging/studies performed include general X-ray and CT. No cardiac CT or angiography is performed. Average number of scans/studies per day is 20. EMR and PACS systems used include EPIC and SECTR. Department specific equipment includes GE. Clinical manager is the leader and there is no use of Registered Radiology Assistants. Radiologists are not in-house. Starting IVs is sometimes required. Two 0.9 Day positions are available from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Weekend and holiday requirements vary. No call or standby requirements exist. Preferred scrub color is black. On-site orientation is provided. The hospital may cancel up to 3 times per contract. Each cancellation could be a full shift or any part of a shift. The hospital may also pay full hours for a particular shift, in lieu of cancellation. Charting system used is Epic. BSN is not required. License is required to submit. The care setting is acute. Division is Allied. Shift notes refer to 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
