Travel CT Tech - $2,853 per week in Oak Park, IL

Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: CT Certification required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: CT Certification by ARRT BLS Certification Description: Local candidates preferred. Second shift position with rotating every other Saturday night. Holiday coverage required. Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience with a charting system is preferred. Experience in community hospital settings is required. Experience in trauma level II settings is preferred. Travel experience is required. Skills required include adult acute care and outpatient care. Experience with GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba equipment is necessary. Knowledge of abdominal, chest, and head CT scans with and without contrast is required. Experience with starting peripheral IVs is preferred. Familiarity with isolation precautions and administration of contrast media is required. Experience with musculoskeletal trauma, pelvis scans with and without contrast, is preferred. Knowledge of cervical, lumbar, and thoracic imaging is required. Patient age groups include adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The unit performs various cardiac studies and biopsy procedures. Emergency department experience is required. Experience with biopsies, aspirations, and brain perfusion procedures is preferred. Knowledge of vascular CTAs and multiplanar reconstruction is required. Fingerprinting compliance is required to be completed prior to the start of the position. Modules are non-billable and will be completed during orientation, varying by specialty. Modules will be recorded via transcripts.
