Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: MRI Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:30-07:00 Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current MRI Technologist license in applicable state Certifications: ARRT certification in MRI Must-Have: Experience in performing MRI exams on a variety of patients, including trauma and emergency cases Description: The MRI Technologist, under the direction of the Medical Director and/or Section Head, performs technical procedures. The Technologist assists in the clinical evaluation and care of patients in a fast-paced environment. They utilize their specific modality to create diagnostic images. Providing patients with a safe and positive experience is a priority. Technologists support teaching and continue learning as technology advances. They perform MRI exams on outpatients and inpatients, including those receiving intensive care. They also conduct research patient scans and specialized MRI-guided procedures. This role requires working on trauma and emergency room scanning. Shifts are Sunday through Wednesday from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM, totaling four 10-hour shifts. No on-call duties are required.
