Job Title: Psychologist Profession: Psychology Specialty: Staff Augmentation Duration: 26 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Experience: Minimum Years of Experience Required License: Required Certifications: Required Must-Have: - Strong experience in administering and interpreting psychometric tests - Ability to participate in interdisciplinary team meetings - Experience in crisis intervention and risk assessment Description: In accordance with training and scope of practice, administer and interpret psychometric tests as requested as part of treatment needs for specific diagnoses. Conduct individual psychological assessments for crisis intervention, neuropsychological issues, and treatment planning. Participate in hearings and assessments for potential suicide. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, develop and implement mental health interventions for a caseload of individuals with mental illness. Conduct individual and group clinical interventions as prescribed in the individual mental health treatment plan. Provide mental health liaison services to an assigned caseload, monitoring compliance with the treatment plan. Complete detailed screens, mental health evaluations, and crisis services within the scope of practice. Write reports and documentation for offender contacts, mental health progress notes, discharge plans, and other forms as necessary. Complete psychosocial needs assessments and treatment assessments. Prepare transfer and discharge summaries and pre-parole clinical risk assessments and treatment summaries. Consult with other staff regarding the mental health caseload and service needs. Attend meetings for clinical case consultations and instruct in-service training sessions for professional development. Conduct expert-witness assessments as needed. Adhere to facility regulations regarding personal items and security protocols.
