Responsibilities include conducting sex offender interventions for a caseload of assigned individuals. The position involves completing screenings and assessments. Group and individual interventions are conducted as prescribed in the program assessment. Evidence-based correctional program intervention strategies will be used within the scope of practice. Documentation is entered in electronic health records for all encounters and contacts. Reports and necessary data documents are maintained to satisfy requirements of applicable agencies. Miscellaneous forms and reports are completed as needed per policy and protocol. Transfer and discharge summaries are also completed. Consultation with other staff regarding the sex offender caseload and service needs is part of the role. Attendance at program supervision meetings is required. Participation in in-service training and workshops for professional development is necessary. Emotional intelligence and teamwork are essential professional skills for success in this position.
