Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech - $3,219 per week in Costa Mesa, CA

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (12:00 PM - 8:30 PM) Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: State Licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certifications: BLS, ARRT N, CNMT, NMTCB Must-Have: - Flexibility with scheduling required. - Current certifications in-hand when applying. - Valid state license required when applying. - EPIC experience required. - Two supervisor references required when applying. Description: Scheduling type requires flexibility. Day shift available Monday through Saturday. Variable start times between 12:00 PM and 8:30 PM. One year of experience is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. ARRT N and CNMT certifications are mandatory. State license must be obtained prior to applying. Preferred certifications include ARRT R and PET. No time off will be allowed during the first two weeks of the assignment. Maximum of 7 days of time off per 13-week contract is highly preferred. All time off requests must be submitted with the application and cannot be changed after submission. The role involves working with investigational PET scans using various ligands. Candidates must have experience in multiple nuclear medicine procedures. Documentation of patient care experience is expected. Candidates should have skills in nuclear cardiology, pediatrics, and various types of scans. Additional skills required include handling radioactive materials and maintaining peripheral IVs. The position requires the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Candidates should be prepared to work with various patient demographics.
