Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Occupational Therapist Specialty: Staff Augmentation Duration: Ongoing Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Required Certifications: Required Must-Have: - Experience in assessing physical capacities, developmental, and psychosocial functions. - Ability to plan, coordinate, and implement treatment plans for clients/consumers. - Strong consultation skills with clients, healthcare professionals, and other parties. - Participation in interdisciplinary team meetings and activities. Description: Assesses clients’ physical capacities, developmental functions, and psychosocial functions using standardized and non-standardized assessment tools. Plans, coordinates, and implements occupational therapy group or individual treatment plans for clients. Determines appropriate therapy techniques and sequences treatment plans accordingly. Coordinates treatment plans with other programs for overall client benefit. Provides consultation regarding client progress and recommendations for treatment. Participates in planning, organizing, and controlling occupational therapy services, policies, and procedures. Participates as an interdisciplinary team member to enhance client outcomes. Assesses and locates suitable adaptive equipment for clients. Documents evaluations, observations, and assessments of client performance. Records treatment plans and revisions, requisitions supplies and equipment, and maintains records. Keeps abreast of current knowledge relevant to occupational therapy through continual education and training. Attends staff meetings to collaborate with team members.
