Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 10/27/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel CT Technologist (Contract) Location: 310 East 14th Street, New York, NY 10003 Duration: 10/27/2025 - 01/24/2026 Shift Hours: Friday 12am-8am Sunday 12am-8am Monday 12am-8am Openings: 2 Job Summary The CT Technologist will perform diagnostic CT procedures using appropriate techniques to produce high-quality images for physician interpretation. The role includes ensuring equipment functionality, maintaining accurate documentation, following radiation safety standards, and providing compassionate patient care throughout the imaging process. Key Responsibilities Perform CT procedures according to established protocols. Select appropriate kV and mA settings to ensure image quality. Conduct daily equipment calibration and quality control checks. Administer contrast media/radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed. Maintain patient records, logs, and charge documentation per department policies. Comply with ALARA and radiation safety standards. Order and verify radiopharmaceutical doses as required. Ensure safe, timely, and accurate patient care before, during, and after procedures. Requirements Licenses/Certifications: New York State License (L.R.T) ARRT Certification in Radiography & CT Current BLS Certification Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent CT experience (at least 1 year required). Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
