The member frontline cashier is the heart of our front end. You may be the first or last associate members interact with. You will run registers, support self-checkout, and help members while maintaining a clean area. The pace can be fast, especially in the evenings, on weekends, and during holidays. This is a rewarding role as part of a large team with a common goal: happy, satisfied members.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members
• Provide exceptional customer service across the club; answer questions as needed
• Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
• Assist members with purchases, payments, and questions about member self-service technology
• Operate registers or self-checkout and process member transactions
• Contribute to smooth store operations by zoning areas and organizing merchandise

What you'll do

Maintains safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety checks, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials safely, and reporting unsafe situations to management.

Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, promoting products and services, and guiding members on self-service tools.

Comply with company policies, ethics, and integrity standards by following open-door policy and related practices in daily tasks.

Complete work assignments by leveraging policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; prioritizing deadlines; communicating progress; and adapting to change and feedback.
