Overview

Restaurant Manager job at Northwest X Southern Hospitality for Crowne Plaza Anchorage Midtown. The role directs and organizes Front of House activities and maintains high standards of food and beverage quality, service, and merchandising to maximize profits. Plan and direct administration and departmental planning to meet daily operations needs. Clearly describe, assign, and delegate responsibility and authority for the operation of food and beverage sub-departments, room service, restaurants, banquets, etc.

Responsibilities

• Direct and organize activities of Front of House Departments to maintain high standards of quality, service, and merchandising.
• Plan and direct administration and planning of the Department to meet daily operations needs.
• Describe, assign, and delegate responsibility and authority for sub-departments including room service, restaurants, and banquets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent GED; hospitality or related degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in the hospitality field; supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven customer service experience as a manager with a guest-focused mentality.
• State Alcohol Certification required or ability to obtain one; State Food Handlers certification required or ability to obtain one.
