Overview

Production Supervisor: The Production Supervisor will oversee the production process to ensure timely product delivery. The role involves managing a team of workers and ensuring all safety, quality, and production standards are met.

Essential Job Functions

• Supervise production workers to achieve targets and ensure efficient production.
• Monitor production processes to meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Manage inventory levels to support production needs.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure a safe work environment.
• Identify and implement improvements in production performance.
• Track and reduce changeover times, targeting zero downtime.
• Train and develop employees to enhance productivity.
• Track production/downtime and implement corrective actions for non-conformance.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Hands-on experience with assembly lines, line balancing, and eliminating non-value-add tasks.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety policies.
• Experience with safety reporting and OHSA awareness.
• Familiar with daily management, continuous improvement, and changeover reductions.
• Lean certification (Yellow or Green Belt) or Kaizen skills preferred.
• Knowledge of changeover wheels, sequencing, and KANBAN.
• Experience with ERP systems and technology improvements in production.
• Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
