PCU Nursing Job Details:

• Location: Rochester, Michigan 48307
• Healthcare Setting: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Job Type: Locum Tenens / Travel RN Contract
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/27/2025 – End: 1/24/2026)
• Shift Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00pm – 7:30am, 3x12 hour shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Unit: Float Staffing – PCU
• Requested Time Off: 1 week allowed
• Pay Rate Range: $50-$65/hr
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1790-$1840

RN Qualifications & Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum 2 years of recent Progressive Care Unit or acute care nursing experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
• Ability to work winter holidays (day and evening shifts)

PCU RN Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in the PCU
• Apply the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and patient/family education
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Collaborate to resolve variances from patient goals and implement solutions
• Perform a range of professional nursing services in a fast-paced PCU environment
