Registered Nurse Job Details
- Position: Locum Tenens Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Pediatric CVOR
- Location: Denver, CO 80218 (Colorado nursing jobs)
- Employment Type: Travel Contract (13 weeks: 10/13/2025 – 1/12/2026)
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 10-hour days, 40 hours/week
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2000-$2050
- Facility: State-of-the-art, 8-OR suite with advanced technology (Belmont rapid infusion)
- Electronic Medical Record: Meditech
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room (OR RN) experience
- Experience in multiple surgical service lines (Orthopedic, ENT, Urology, Spine, General, GYN, Endoscopy, Plastics, Cardiac)
- Cardiac/CVOR and pediatric nursing experience strongly preferred
- BLS certification required
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
OR RN Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the Pediatric Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR), ensuring safety and quality during all surgical procedures
- Assist with a variety of pediatric and adult surgeries, including cardiac and specialty cases
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to optimize patient outcomes
- Utilize advanced surgical equipment and technology for rapid infusion and patient monitoring
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Meditech EMR
- Demonstrate adaptability across multiple surgical service lines and contribute to a positive healthcare team environment
