• Healthcare Setting: Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
• Start Date: October 13, 2025
• End Date: January 12, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7P - 7A)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,990 - $2,260 per week
• Unit Size: 42 beds
• Night Shift Staffing: 1 CNC, 11-13 RNs, 1 unit coordinator

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Colorado or compact state
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent Level III or Level IV NICU nursing experience
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication skills; positive, adaptable attitude

NICU RN Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill neonates in a Level IV NICU
• Monitor and manage patients using advanced neonatal equipment (isolettes, CPAP, PIVs, central lines)
• Accurately document patient care and assessments in Neonatal Notes EMR
• Assist with neonatal procedures, including circumcisions and ROP (Retinopathy of Prematurity) exams
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes
• Adapt to census changes and provide support in pediatric units as needed
