• Employment Type: Locum tenens (Travel Nursing Contract)
• Location: Weston, West Virginia 26452 (Lewis County)
• Healthcare Setting: Ambulatory and General Operating Room
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (extension possible)
• Start Date: October 13, 2025
• End Date: January 12, 2026
• Nursing Shifts: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts/week (Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm)
• On-Call: Every 4th weekday & weekend (must be within 30 minutes of facility while on call; some holidays required)
• Orientation: 16 hours (includes modules)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,750–$1,790

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Active West Virginia or Compact RN license (pending license considered)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications preferred (AHA)
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Permanent address greater than 100 miles from facility (75–100 miles considered case-by-case)
• Minimum 2 Manager or Charge references within past 2 years
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Travel RN experience preferred

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Serve as a circulating nurse in the Operating Room, ensuring patient safety and supporting surgical teams
• Assist with procedures including General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Pediatric Surgery, and Endoscopic procedures
• Preferred experience with ENT procedures and bronchoscopy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, and Social Services
• Maintain infection control, specimen handling/labeling, and universal protocol (time out) procedures
• Float to Surg/PACU/Endoscopy units as needed
• Provide patient care for all age groups: pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
