- Location: Weston, West Virginia 26452 (Lewis County)
- Healthcare Setting: Ambulatory and General Operating Room
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (extension possible)
- Start Date: October 13, 2025
- End Date: January 12, 2026
- Nursing Shifts: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts/week (Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm)
- On-Call: Every 4th weekday & weekend (must be within 30 minutes of facility while on call; some holidays required)
- Orientation: 16 hours (includes modules)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,750–$1,790
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
- Active West Virginia or Compact RN license (pending license considered)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications preferred (AHA)
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Permanent address greater than 100 miles from facility (75–100 miles considered case-by-case)
- Minimum 2 Manager or Charge references within past 2 years
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- Travel RN experience preferred
Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities
- Serve as a circulating nurse in the Operating Room, ensuring patient safety and supporting surgical teams
- Assist with procedures including General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Pediatric Surgery, and Endoscopic procedures
- Preferred experience with ENT procedures and bronchoscopy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, and Social Services
- Maintain infection control, specimen handling/labeling, and universal protocol (time out) procedures
- Float to Surg/PACU/Endoscopy units as needed
- Provide patient care for all age groups: pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
