Overview

Responsibilities
- Greet all incoming visitors; assign name badges and safety equipment, as applicable.
- Answer all incoming telephone calls and direct the caller to the appropriate individual/location.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail. Stamp and sort all outgoing mail.
- Provide day-to-day support to Plant Manager and/or Operations Manager, including maintaining and generating weekly and monthly plant production reports such as Labor Cost per Lb. and weekly temp labor reports.
- Process temp labor timesheets and key temp hours in EHS.
- Monitor and track expenses and report weekly status.
- Prepare, design, and distribute plant-wide communications as directed.
- Plan and coordinate hospitality needs for meetings and trainings (lunches, snacks, etc.).
- Issue employee building access cards to new hires.
- Track employee uniforms.
- Record monthly Plant Safety Reporting Minutes in EHS.
- Process and mail employee birthday cards.
- Assist with publishing Employee of the Month in the monthly newsletter and internal company media.
- Maintain updates, announcements, and news for all team members via communication boards and/or PowerPoint presentations.
- Maintain inventory and ordering of supplies; keep records/files and keep supply closets and common areas clean and organized.
- Various other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent required; College Degree a plus.
- SAP / Workflow experience required; Basware experience highly preferred.
- Microsoft Excel: Experience with spreadsheets and calculations required.
- 3+ years' administrative support experience in a fast-paced environment; minimum 1-2 years in an office/plant environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Ability to solve practical problems and work with a variety of variables in situations with limited standardization; good troubleshooting skills.
- Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, decimals, fractions).
- Professional conduct, personal responsibility, and ability to work independently or under direction.
- Working knowledge of MS Office; technically adept.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods.
