Overview

Caregiver/Home Health Aide (HHA). As a member of the interdisciplinary team, provide hands-on personal care, report changes in the client’s condition, perform simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing services, and provide incidental/instrumental activities of daily living to clients in the home setting as evaluated/delegated and as permitted by Interim HealthCare policies and procedures and any applicable federal, state, and local laws or regulations.

Full time, part time and PRN openings (vary by location). You pick your schedule!

Job Duties

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

Job Requirements

• 6 months prior adult caregiving experience OR the completion of a CNA course/certificate
• 2 positive references
