Overview

Caregiver/Home Health Aide (HHA) – As a member of the interdisciplinary team who provides hands-on personal care, you will report changes in the client’s condition, perform simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing services, and provide incidental/instrumental activities of daily living to clients in the home setting, as evaluated/delegated and as permitted by Interim HealthCare policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support for seniors to help them live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document client condition, and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy (e.g., puzzles, games, reading, hobbies)

Job Requirements

• 6 months of prior adult caregiving experience OR completion of a CNA course/certificate
• 2 positive references
