Overview

Caregiver/Home Health Aide (HHA) at Interim HealthCare Inc.

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you provide hands-on personal care, report changes in the client’s condition, perform simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing services, and provide incidental/instrumental activities of daily living to clients in the home setting, as evaluated/delegated and as permitted by Interim HealthCare policies and applicable laws and regulations.

Full time, part time, and PRN openings (varies by location). You pick your schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document client condition, and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

Job Requirements

• 6 months prior adult caregiving experience OR the completion of a CNA course/certificate
• 2 positive references
