Emergency Department RN Job Details

• Position Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Registered Nurse
• Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (E-12)
• Location: Cleveland, OH 44195 (Ohio nursing jobs)
• Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (7:00pm – 7:30am)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/13/2025 – End: 1/12/2026)
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1570 - $1610

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent Emergency Department RN experience (travel nursing experience accepted)
• Active and permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State Registered Nurse license required at time of application
• Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, & PALS (active and current at submission)
• TNCC certification preferred
• One supervisory reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the Emergency Department specialty required
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Willingness to work at least every other holiday during contract period

Emergency Department RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment
• Perform triage, assessment, and treatment for a diverse patient population
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care and maintain compliance with facility policies
• Participate in required orientation and ongoing clinical training modules
