- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 11/3/2025 – End: 2/2/2026)
- Shifts: Day shifts; 5x8-hour (07:00 – 15:30) or 4x10-hour (07:00 – 17:30), flexible scheduling available
- Weekly Hours: 40
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1920–$1970 per week
- Self-Scheduling: Requests accepted to accommodate preferred schedules
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active compact or Ohio RN license required at time of submission
- Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in oncology or related healthcare jobs
- Previous travel RN experience preferred
- EPIC charting experience required
- BLS certification required; ACLS and ONS Chemo Certification preferred
- Ability to provide two professional references (one from a manager/director or formal leadership)
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
Oncology Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to adult and geriatric oncology patients
- Perform IV therapy/infusions and manage central lines/implanted ports
- Implement neutropenic precautions and radiation safety protocols
- Interpret dysrhythmias and provide tracheostomy care/management
- Provide wound care and symptom management for oncology patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain high standards of clinical care
