Position: Permanent Full Time Warehouse Forklift Operators in Jackson, Tennessee

Overview

Ryder is immediately hiring Permanent Full Time Warehouse Forklift Operators in Jackson, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading/unloading of trucks
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a diverse work environment
• Ability to build professional relationships at all levels of the organization
• Highly thorough and dependable; punctual with good attendance
• Capable of lifting and/or pushing/pulling up to 35 lbs; able to stand for long periods
• Flexibility to work various shifts; commitment to safety methods
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up
