HEICO . Position Overview:
HEICO Component Repair Group is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to perform Return to Service inspections on aircraft accessory components in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures. The role is vital in ensuring safety and compliance within our FAA Part 145 Repair Station operations. The ideal candidate will hold a current Airframe (A) license or have previously held a Repairman Certificate with relevant experience in component-level inspections. Key Responsibilities:
Perform final inspections and issue Return to Service authorizations for repaired and overhauled accessory components. Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations, company Repair Station and Quality Control Manual, Customer Requirements, and CMMs. Review maintenance records, test data, and documentation for completeness and accuracy. Conduct audits and inspections of work-in-progress, final assemblies, and shop processes as required. Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Maintain accurate records of inspections. Coordinate with technicians, production, and quality assurance staff to ensure timely delivery. Support internal and external audits. Qualifications: Valid Airframe (A) license or prior experience as an FAA authorized Repairman in a Part 145 Repair station. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience inspecting aircraft components, preferably accessories such as pumps, valves, actuators, electrical components, etc. Strong knowledge of FAA Part 145 regulations and AS9110 Quality Standards. High attention to detail and ability to accurately document findings. Proficient in reading technical manuals and engineering drawings. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills. Additional Details:
