This role is part of Raytheon’s Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) organization within the Patriot program. The LCE focus area is product support, including reliability, system safety, and supportability across the product life cycle from conception to deactivation.

Role Summary Senior Manager Systems Engineering, Life Cycle Engineering Section Lead - Patriot

will manage a team of Logistics Engineers delivering engineering products and services to Program offices. The position uses Program Management Excellence tools including manpower planning, EVMS cost management, cost proposal development, and EAC analysis. This is an onsite role based at Andover or Tewksbury facilities.

What You Will Do

Employee performance development and assessment

Ensure quality and timeliness of work products produced within the section

Employee growth, productivity improvement, and recognition

Personnel issue resolution

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Ensure all personnel are properly prepared and trained for tasks

Leverage best practices across programs

Grow capabilities of the section to meet future customer needs

Approximately 5% travel is required

Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience

Experience with data collection and/or analysis

Experience developing and executing engineering contract deliverables

Experience as a technical and/or functional lead of an engineering team

Experience in a technical environment managing budgets and using EVMS and/or BOE

Qualifications We Prefer

Advanced degree may account for additional years of experience

Raytheon Level II EVMS or equivalent

Ability to develop briefings to mid-sized audiences on technical plans, status, and results

Proposal experience as lead/support for contract capture through LCE leadership

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Aptitude in metrics-based execution plans

Experience with Technical Data Package components and Parts List interpretation

Experience in generation breakdown and spares analysis (Poisson based, OPUS or similar)

Supply chain familiarity

Experience in a project management environment

Additional Details The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, and more, dependent on business unit and collective-bargaining status.
