A.L. Adams Construction Company, LLC is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Construction Operations to guide our growing company into its next phase. This leadership role drives operational efficiency, supports project delivery, and enhances team performance. We’re looking for a proven construction professional with hands-on field experience, strong operational insight, and a passion for developing teams and refining processes in a collaborative, high-performing culture. The Director of Construction Operations oversees day-to-day construction operations to ensure effective planning, execution, and delivery. We seek a results-oriented leader with strong construction management experience, a collaborative approach, and a focus on operational efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities

Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful delivery Supervise and support project managers, superintendents, and field teams across multiple job sites to promote collaboration and high performance Develop, implement, and maintain construction schedules, budgets, and quality standards to meet or exceed project goals Work closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to foster strong partnerships and effective communication Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies to maintain a safe and secure work environment Proactively identify and resolve project challenges, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation Oversee procurement processes and manage vendor relationships to support project needs and cost efficiency Provide regular reports on project progress, performance metrics, and KPIs to executive leadership Qualifications & Attributes

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field Over 10 years of experience in commercial construction, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership or management role Demonstrated success managing large-scale construction projects and diverse teams In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, industry regulations, and best practices Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with a collaborative approach Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, CMiC, MS Project, and Bluebeam We offer
