Overview
Staff Services Analyst – Enforcement Branch, Fraud Division, Valencia Regional Office (Los Angeles County) – Hybrid work arrangement. This recruitment is for the Valencia Regional Office located at 27200 Tourney Road # 375, Santa Clarita, CA 91355. The position is full-time, permanent.
Base pay range The salary ranges listed reflect State guidelines and may be adjusted based on experience. New to state service may be hired at the minimum of the classification or the minimum of the applicable alternate range.

Department Information The California Department of Insurance (CDI) is the consumer protection agency for the nation’s largest insurance marketplace. CDI safeguards consumers by regulating the insurance industry. CDI oversees more than 1,400 insurance companies and licenses more than 425,000 agents, brokers, adjusters, and business entities.
Job Description and Duties Under supervision, the incumbent works with investigative staff to collect, organize, and analyze documents related to regional office cases. Performs work of average difficulty in program evaluation and planning, systems development, budgeting, planning, and related tasks. Tasks include preparation of draft monthly/ quarterly reports, database management, contract preparation, budgetary projections, research, trend analysis, and liaison with the public, law enforcement, department personnel, and public agencies.
