Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager in our Technology practice, you will interact with business stakeholders to evaluate and analyze business models, processes, and operations. You will translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure that implemented technology solutions meet these requirements. Your collaboration with technical teams will be crucial in designing and delivering effective system architecture solutions. Lead engagement delivery and manage client relationships on a daily basis. Oversee program/project management and ensure engagement economics are met. Develop resource plans and budgets for complex engagements. Consistently deliver quality client service; monitor progress, manage risk, and keep stakeholders informed about progress and outcomes. Demonstrate leadership and coaching within diverse teams; provide actionable feedback and development for team members. Drive business growth by generating new opportunities and presenting strategic solutions to clients. Establish and sustain long-term client relationships and cross-practice collaboration. Enhance client operations by optimizing end-to-end SAP Transportation Management (TM) processes; configure, design, build, test, and deploy SAP S/4 TM with integration to related solutions. Lead workshops to guide critical design decisions with clear recommendations. Collaborate with technical leaders to estimate efforts for customizations and enhancements, including non-SAP interfaces, extensions, and cloud considerations. Develop and deliver exceptional EY S/4 Transportation Management solutions with project teams and client stakeholders. Qualifications
Skills and attributes for success include a blend of technical and interpersonal abilities to build strong client relationships and deliver exceptional results. You will engage stakeholders to assess needs, lead requirements gathering, architecture, blueprinting, testing, and workflow/documentation, and manage configurations and integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems. Key skills include: Strong technical skills in application functional design and requirements definition. Ability to analyze cost-benefit scenarios for technology options. Experience with system configuration design and business architecture frameworks. Excellent communication skills to influence and negotiate effectively. To qualify for the role, you must have: A bachelor’s degree; a master’s degree is preferred. Typically, 9 years of relevant SAP experience. Proven leadership with at least two full SAP TM implementations in senior roles such as workstream lead, engagement lead, or solution architect. Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills. Experience managing SAP projects or work streams and guiding project teams. Knowledge of leading practices, benchmarking, and industry-specific finance/technology functions. Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations and new technologies. Willingness to travel; travel is estimated at 40-60%. Ideally, you’ll also have: Experience leading teams and managing change; prior consulting experience. SAP certification(s). What We Look For
