We are seeking an accomplished Head of Production to oversee fabrication operations and lead a team of skilled production professionals. This role is central to delivering high-quality retail design projects for luxury, fashion, and sports brands across North America, including store design, window installations, and pop-up activations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are executed to the highest standards of craftsmanship, delivered on time, and aligned with client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction to the production team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Manage all aspects of production, from project planning through final delivery, ensuring adherence to specifications, schedules, and quality benchmarks. Develop and maintain detailed production schedules, monitor progress, and allocate resources effectively. Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure all outputs meet client and organizational standards. Contribute to budget preparation and manage production costs in alignment with financial objectives. Collaborate closely with internal design and project management teams to ensure seamless communication and execution of deliverables. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity. Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulatory requirements. Qualifications
Significant experience in a senior production management role within fabrication, retail design, or a related industry. Strong technical knowledge of carpentry and fabrication methods. Demonstrated success in leading and motivating large, diverse teams. Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in project management tools and systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
