Assistant Store Manager partners with the Store Manager to support store team members to achieve sales performance expectations through active coaching, development of a team selling environment, and operational excellence when on duty. Assists in recruiting, hiring, and training the store team to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities

Inspire store team to achieve their best performance Execute to maximize growth and potential Create an engaged and inclusive store environment Elevate the customer experience through operational excellence Exceed customer expectations in all interactions Lead with Store Manager to help store staff achieve sales, service, and operational expectations Support clear performance expectations and ensure training in sales, customer service, and operations to meet company standards Model company values and lead by example as an active coach Communicate priorities and sales-driving information to maximize business opportunities Assist in recruiting store staff and contribute to an inclusive store environment Support the Store Manager in achieving store business plans (sales, service, operations) Develop game plans and follow up to maximize sales and drive consistent performance Present opportunities with data-based information and recommendations Participate in driving business outreach and communicate leads to Store Manager, Regional Manager, and VP of Store Operations Identify performance opportunities and help develop plans to address issues Ensure store schedule accuracy and proper staffing to execute initiatives and maintain sales coverage Assist with training store staff on internal operational functions Stay informed on corporate communications, directives, initiatives, policies and procedures Support implementation of store programs to increase efficiencies in sales, service, operations, and branding Contribute to an engaged and inclusive store environment where opinions are recognized Support a culture of learning and development with available training tools Serve as a role model and provide enthusiastic motivational leadership Assist in creating an external talent pipeline through recruitment Conduct regular store meetings to keep all team members up to date with company directives Assist with training the store team on customer service expectations to create an exceptional experience Lead the store team to exceed customer expectations and achieve a high Medallia score Leverage customer feedback to take appropriate actions and resolve concerns Collaborate to ensure the store is visually aligned to brand standards and marketing initiatives Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of Retail or Sales experience Creative with good judgement and awareness of business dynamics Self-motivated, results oriented, strategic thinker Strong organizational and leadership skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Active listening and problem-solving abilities Proven ability to train and develop high performing store teams Proficient in technology systems, applications, Microsoft Office, and video conferencing Ability to operate a computer and POS system Physical Requirements
