Overview

Assistant Store Manager position at Sally Beauty. This role supports the Store Manager in leading store operations, driving customer experience, and maintaining brand standards. When the Store Manager is not present, the Assistant Manager assumes primary duties and supports the development and execution of strategies to achieve KPIs and financial targets. Responsibilities

30% Brand: Supervise and guide associates to deliver an exceptional client experience, maximize sales/KPIs, and drive customer loyalty. Ensure brand standards are met (merchandising, POGs, marketing, back rooms, dress code, etc.). Act as the main point of contact to resolve customer issues and analyze store trends to anticipate demand. 30% People: Recruit, train, and develop team members; provide coaching and counseling as needed. Maintain positive associate relations, communicate company information, and uphold policies. Build relationships with Store Manager peers and communicate with AM/DM. Promote diversity, inclusion and belonging. 30% Operations: Ensure execution of company processes through training, management, analysis, and continuous improvement. Utilize digital strategies including Omni-channel fulfillment (SFS/SDD/BOPIS). Store operations: Manage inventory, plan and process shipments, and handle scheduling to meet business needs. Ensure correct opening/closing procedures and timely follow-through on directives and projects. 10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment, protect company assets, follow inventory and cash control procedures, analyze reporting, and ensure compliance with HAZMAT training where applicable. Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent Must be 18 years of age or older Minimum 3+ years of retail sales/customer service experience (preferred) At least 1 year of prior management experience (preferred) Ability to lead or support a team to meet business objectives Strong communication skills with team and management Scheduling availability to meet business needs Cosmetology license desirable, but not required Competencies

Occasional physical exertion such as standing, walking, bending, reaching, and light lifting (store shipments or boxes). Ability to work in multiple store locations if needed.
