Supply Chain Manager – Aerospace, Parker Hannifin (Parker Meggitt) Location: Oro Valley, AZ (as part of Parker Meggitt, a Parker Hannifin company) Responsibilities

Determines annual targets and objectives for procurement performance, cost savings and other KPIs, with execution plans in conjunction with site, division and group leadership. Leads and supervises day-to-day procurement activities for the site. Works with the site operations team to optimize inventory management and SIOP; ensures proper order placement and expediting of deliveries to support site manufacturing needs. Supports Site Operations Lead in meeting site objectives; leads functional DLA and supports other site DLAs as appropriate, performs Pareto-based gap analysis, defines actions to support performance/recovery, and drives functional MPS. Sources new products and supports new product introduction activities aligned with Parker policies and strategy, including sourcing, cost targeting, contracting, gate reviews, customer requirement flow downs and risk management. Manages risk within the supply chain and ensures procurement procedures comply with government laws and company policy. Contributes to commodity strategies and executes strategies aligned with site/group requirements. Develops and deploys procurement processes and practices to drive continuous improvement in site activities. Leads and directs a team of employees as defined by business needs; manages staffing, performance, development, retention and training to achieve business goals. Utilizes lean practices to deliver inventory, supplier performance, total cost, and other KPIs; designs and manages supplier inventory programs as required. Leads supplier development and performance management, including supplier scorecards, corrective actions and reviews. Leads supplier contract negotiations to ensure effective supplier relationships and alignment with business risks, working capital, and other objectives. Performs other duties within the job holder’s capabilities consistent with employment terms; ensures compliance with laws and company policies. Qualifications

Bachelor degree (required) in supply chain or related field; analytical degrees (Math/Engineering) preferred. 7–10 years of procurement experience; aerospace background highly preferred. Demonstrated capability/experience in an operations procurement leadership role. Experience with electronic material buying and practical knowledge of aerospace sourcing, purchasing processes, systems and practices. Working knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts; experience with supplier inventory programs (e.g., Kanban, consignment). Ability to drive change and continuously improve procurement cost, quality and delivery across a site. Ability to assess key business metrics; coach and develop team members; lead in a fast-moving environment. Strong interpersonal skills to lead and motivate teams and communicate with suppliers and customers at all levels. Proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing and presentations; ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications (beneficial). Familiarity with FAR regulations and commercial aviation environment; willingness to travel (domestic/international). Benefits and Compensation
