Workplace Manager - Chicago The Workplace team oversees the employee and guest experience for our Chicago office. This role owns the daily workplace experience, manages site-related issues, and coordinates external service providers (coffee service, daily catering, custodial). The team supports internal events in coordination with Global Events and works with IT and Onboarding to ensure a smooth Day 1 experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional, globally-based teams and bring strong communication, partnership, and customer service skills to the role. We are the internal brand ambassadors for the Adyen office experience. What You’ll Achieve Manage/oversee all Workplace operations within the office, including building operations, office planning, FOH experience, contracted service providers, catering, event support, custodial, and MAC (moves, adds, changes). Collaborate with on-site leadership and team leads to meet evolving team needs. Communicate with business leaders to understand goals and drive impact with proactive, solution-based thinking. Partner with the Workplace project team on moves, adds, changes, and construction projects at the local level. Coordinate with IT, Onboarding, Events, Marketing, HR, and other teams to align needs, changes, growth, and office vibe. Manage reception experience and access for visitors, including interviews, client visits, and global visitors. Maintain relations with landlord and property management; serve as point person for building-related issues and documentation. Work with Regional Team Manager and other NA/LATAM workplace managers to support regional needs and create a seamless experience between offices. Manage workplace and real estate costs to ensure responsible spending. Collaborate with Security and IT to stay compliant in on-site security, emergency preparedness, and visitor management. Develop and implement activities that promote employee engagement and collaboration. About You 5+ years in an office management and/or facilities role. Ability to make strategic decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Problem solver with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong partnership and communication skills across all levels of the organization. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
