Membership Sales Consultant role at Gold's Gym SoCal Group. Apply to join a team focused on providing world-class service to guests and members through in-depth knowledge of company products and programs. Responsibilities
Tours potential members through the club and describes the facility, equipment, services, and amenities aligned with individual fitness needs and goals. Registers guests in the system and communicates membership and fitness offers using Company-provided tools. Signs up guests using Company sales techniques and adheres to Membership Agreement Procedures when enrolling members and guests. On-boards new members and supports retention activities to drive club profitability. Achieves or exceeds personal and team sales goals; generates leads externally (community outreach, corporate on-sites) and internally (referrals, guest passes, phone outreach). Sets appointments for leads and potential new business opportunities; maintains productive schedules and prioritizes tasks. Parts with Membership Sales Manager to deliver a best-in-class, member-centric experience and strengthen member relationships. Engages members with various fitness offerings including personal training, group exercise classes, and Gold's Gym SoCal digital content. Maintains positive member relationships and serves as a resource for questions, directing to appropriate resources as needed. Maintains a clean, friendly, well-maintained club environment and helps new members become comfortable in the club. Qualifications and Must-Haves
Ability to use sound business judgment with strong analytical skills Effective communication and listening skills Strong planning, organization, delegation, and follow-up abilities Positive, upbeat, and outgoing attitude; passion for hospitality and member excellence Fitness industry experience (preferred); willingness to learn and grow Current CPR Certification; bilingual skills preferred College degree preferred Ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs; standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods Compensation and Benefits
