Overview
Investment Strategy Analyst, Solutions Group Privates Allocator role at Wellington Management. The Wellington Solutions team partners with clients to solve investment challenges, delivering outcome-oriented strategies by integrating diversified asset allocation, multi-manager portfolio design, robust portfolio construction, and sophisticated risk management. The Analyst will be part of the Solutions Portfolio Management team, supporting the design, implementation, and ongoing management of offerings across public and private markets, with a focus on private fund allocations, oversight, and due diligence to inform portfolio construction and risk management. Responsibilities
Support design, implementation, and ongoing management of the Solutions platform across public and private markets. Conduct manager research on private fund allocations and assist in ongoing oversight and due diligence. Develop analysis to support portfolio management, covering investment guidelines, risk parameters, and performance objectives. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, clients and partners to ensure portfolios meet investment objectives and risk controls. Qualifications
5–10 years of total experience, with minimum 3 years in manager research or manager allocation to private funds. Experience in performance attribution and skill assessment of private teams in drawdown/evergreen funds. Analytical mindset with strong data collection, statistical and empirical research skills. Familiarity with private markets (equity, credit and/or real assets) and willingness to dive into complex topics. Proven ability to ramp in analytics and technology; programming skills are preferred, and experience with business intelligence tools is advantageous. Strong intellectual curiosity, passion for rigorous research, capital markets, and the intersection of technology and investment management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey research findings to internal stakeholders. Benefits
Base salary range: USD 80,000 – 180,000. The total compensation package may include discretionary bonuses and other rewards.
