Business Tax Services - Private Tax Manager - High Net Worth Individuals at EY. Location: Anywhere in Country. Responsibilities
Researching tax issues to develop effective tax planning strategies Translating complex data from a range of sources into client-ready insights and deliverables Building effective long-term relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs to provide a tailored service Communicating complex tax issues to non-tax professionals and clients Maintaining your reputation in your field by updating and sharing your technical knowledge Managing, coaching and developing a team of tax professionals, reviewing work and ensuring they have the tools and opportunities to excel Identifying risks and opportunities to improve services and processes Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in a related field, with significant tax, business or financial planning experience A CPA certification or membership in The Bar Minimum of 5 years of work experience in professional services or professional tax organization Experience with federal and state personal and trust taxation Experience with flow-through entities (S-Corps, Partnerships, LLCs) Understanding of automated tax processing systems Experience with Gift, Estate and Trust tax planning and compliance is a plus Commitment to continuing learning Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills, and the confidence to challenge senior colleagues Willingness to travel as needed, in a balanced hybrid environment Preferred/Additional
Experience coaching and mentoring junior colleagues Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to adapt work style for internal and client teams Interest in providing outstanding services to high-profile individuals and their families What We Look For

Competitive compensation and benefits package. Base salary ranges: US-wide $106,500–$195,100; NYC Metro/Washington/California: $127,700–$221,700.
