Tax – Business Tax Services – Private Tax HNWI - Manager EY Private Tax is a growing practice within EY, focusing on privately held companies and their owners and families. Clients range from family-owned businesses to private equity owned companies. This role offers cross-border and cross-functional collaboration within a growing global team and exposure to technically demanding tax planning and compliance projects. Your Key Responsibilities
Managing various responsibilities including technical planning and advising clients that include high-profile individuals and their families Coaching and developing a highly trained team while delivering work with a focus on quality and commercial value Building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs to provide tailored service Translating complex data from diverse sources into client-ready insights and deliverables Researching tax issues to develop effective tax planning strategies Identifying risks and opportunities to improve services and processes Qualifications and Experience
A bachelor's degree in a related field with significant tax, business or financial planning experience A CPA certification or membership in The Bar Minimum of 5 years of work experience in professional services or professional tax organization Experience with federal and state personal and trust taxation Experience with flow-through entities (S-Corps, Partnerships, LLCs) Understanding of automated tax processing systems Experience with Gift, Estate and Trust tax planning and compliance is a plus Commitment to continuing learning; excellent collaboration and negotiation skills; ability to challenge senior colleagues Willingness to travel as needed, and ability to work in a balanced hybrid environment Ideal and Additional Qualities
A proven record in a professional services environment Experience in coaching and mentoring junior colleagues Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to adapt work style to collaborate with internal and client teams What We Look For

Comprehensive compensation and benefits package with base salary ranges: $106,500 to $195,100 (US); $127,700 to $221,700 in NYC Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento). Total Rewards include medical/dental coverage, pension and 401(k), and paid time off options.
