$94,500 - $135,000 Summary Agile Defense is an award-winning business with an immediate opening for an experienced Pricing Analyst III with extensive government contracting experience who is responsible for all pricing related functions. The candidate for this position will analyze Government requirements and develop pricing models and narratives for complex price proposals. The candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to prepare pricing review presentations. Additionally, this candidate will be able to review and assist other analysts in the production of high-quality price proposals. Job Duties And Responsibilities Develops, analyzes, evaluates, coordinates, prepares, and supports all cost proposal spreadsheets to government and commercial customers. Develops/writes Pricing Narratives for cost proposals. Assist the Pricing Director in the review of cost workbooks and narratives constructed by other pricing analysts. Review Requests for Proposals (RFP) and proposal documents for compliance to customer specifications/requirements and adherence to company policy. Identify the different pricing variables that can be leveraged to meet pricing and/or operational objectives and make recommendations for how best to leverage these variables. Ensure compliance to Agile Defenses’ estimating and purchasing systems and provide interpretation of RFP requirements. Flexibility to work on both low- and high-value proposals, often concurrently. Interact with personnel and management at all levels; interface and coordinate with other departmental personnel on a daily basis. Provide reviews of all estimates prior to delivery and review by senior management. Prepare and present costs estimates to management, customer representatives, and government audit agencies. Ensures adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA), and Agile Defense policies and procedures with regard to cost proposal preparation, review, compliance, submission, updates/revisions, and negotiations. Support audit requests, fact-finding, and negotiation discussions and program budget baseline processes. Support various business management & operations functions. Develop and present information to a variety of stakeholders. SUPERVISORY DUTIES When required, assist the Director of Pricing in the review of pricing volumes (spreadsheets and written narratives) constructed by other Pricing Analysts. Education, Background, And Years Of Experience Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related field. 10+ Years of Experience pricing DoD proposals. Additional Skills & Qualifications Required Skills Strengths in Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat. Strong written communication skills. WORKING CONDITIONS Environmental Conditions The Candidate must have a dedicated space, free of distraction. Strength Demands Sedentary – 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles. Some occasional walking or standing may be required. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
