The University of Washington conducts research on sexually transmitted infections and infectious diseases. The Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases has an outstanding opportunity open for a Temporary Research Coordinator. The Research Coordinator's primary role is to manage a portfolio of studies related to STI and HIV, including work related to developing study implementation procedures, recruitment, monitoring study progress, data analysis, and working with the UW institutional review board. Responsibilities: Coordinate the day-to-day activities of multiple research studies, ensuring adherence to study protocols and timelines. Assist in the development and refinement of study procedures in collaboration with principal investigators and research teams. Prepare and submit IRB applications, modifications, and renewals. Recruit and screen study participants, track enrollment progress, and maintain study records. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a science-related field. At least two years of experience, including database creation and management, experience with REDCap, and data analysis. Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
