BioLegacy Research is seeking a results-driven and proactive Business Development Manager – International to join our global BD team. This role is responsible for expanding our presence in overseas markets, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical or CRO (Contract Research Organization) business development, combined with a passion for delivering innovative preclinical solutions. BioLegacy Research Responsibilities
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in international markets, with a focus on building relationships with prospective clients. Maintain and strengthen partnerships with existing clients, uncovering additional needs and supporting contract negotiations to drive repeat business. Provide regular and accurate updates on business development activities and progress to company leadership. Collaborate closely with technical and project management teams to ensure contracts are updated in a timely manner, client feedback is gathered, and service quality is maintained. Manage the complete sales cycle, including follow-up communication, to ensure targets are met or exceeded. Serve as a bridge between clients and our Scientific Department (SD), relaying market feedback and insights to support the development and optimization of preclinical animal models aligned with client demands. Carry out additional tasks and strategic initiatives assigned by BD leadership. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, or a related life science field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in business development or sales within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO industry is required. Prior experience in preclinical research or CRO business expansion is strongly preferred. Solid understanding of international pharmaceutical R&D markets, with the ability to differentiate business models from competitors. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with clients and internal teams. Highly motivated, adaptable, and capable of working under pressure. Must be willing to travel internationally as required. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams, with a high degree of initiative and accountability.
