Salesforce.com Solution Architects drive enterprise Salesforce.com implementations, including all project phases such as discovery, definition, build, test and deploy. After our sales team wins a project, you'll become the main contact person for the client to manage their project to make sure it's delivered on-time and on-budget. As a Manager in Solution Architecture, you will bridge the gap between complex business problems and innovative technical solutions, guiding decisions to align with business outcomes and provide recommendations that propel the business forward.
Responsibilities
Develop solutions to complex problems and recommend policy changes. Establish procedures that affect your immediate work area and possibly the broader business function. Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Support quality and risk management in the delivery of technology solutions. Engage in continuous process improvement and identify innovative solutions.
Skills and Attributes for Success
Excellent oral and written communication skills; comfortable leading conversations with audiences at all levels. Ability to lead discovery meetings to identify system requirements and understand business processes with the client. Experience in Salesforce CRM and multiple end-to-end implementations; Salesforce integration experience with various middleware tools. Deep experience with Salesforce components (APEX APIs, APEX Triggers, VisualForce, Apex Classes, APIs, AppExchange) and Salesforce.com controls. Hands-on experience configuring Salesforce (Workflow, Approvals, etc.). Ability to design and solution the Salesforce platform and identify gaps between current and future state. Knowledge of Salesforce configuration and platform capabilities; ability to work with developers on specifications for custom code or data migration. Ability to manage project timelines and economics for on-time, on-budget delivery. Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and support change management. Cloud computing architecture, cybersecurity and privacy architecture, complex problem-solving and relationship-building, and effective communication.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (4-year) Typically 4–6 years of relevant Salesforce.com implementation experience with teams of 5+ people; hands-on configuration and customizations required. Experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud Relational database concepts understanding Self-starter with ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities Excellent communication, leadership and client development skills Salesforce.com certifications Willingness to travel based on client needs
Preferred/Additional
Degree emphasis in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, MIS, Mathematics; Master’s degree preferred Certifications and prior consulting experience highly preferred
