HDR’s Dam, Levee and Flood Resilience Programs seek civil, structural, geotechnical, and hydraulic engineers to provide project, geographic and technical leadership. HDR is employee-owned and highly ranked by ENR for Dams and Reservoirs and Hydropower. Our globally coordinated, locally delivered dam, levee and flood resilience program is committed to improving the resiliency, sustainability, and safety of communities. Our nation’s dams, levees and flood control systems are being upgraded and rebuilt to adapt to a changing climate, provide more efficient renewable power and meet growing water needs. HDR engineers are leading the way to solve our toughest water infrastructure problems. Responsibilities
Provide project, geographic and technical leadership in HDR’s dam, levee and flood resilience programs. Serve as engineers of record, group managers and technical practice leaders on complex dam, levee and flood resilience management projects. Expertise in potential failure mode analysis (PFMA) is a growing need, and candidates with PFMA experience will contribute across assignments. Relocation or remote opportunities: HDR has over 200 locations in the United States and supports flexible work arrangements. Qualifications
Civil, structural, geotechnical or hydraulic engineers with experience in dam, levee and flood resilience projects. Experience as engineers of record or in leadership roles on complex water infrastructure projects is a plus. Willingness to relocate or be contacted about opportunities near you; HDR has over 200 locations in the United States and supports flexible work arrangements. Experience or interest in potential failure mode analysis (PFMA) is a plus. Locations
